The Orion® Traditional brings HELIOVISION™ virtual flame technology to a classic, architecturally proportioned form. Designed for both new built-in installations and as a direct insert into existing zero-clearance wood or gas fireplaces, it delivers three flame styles across six colours, plus multi-colour ember bed and downlighting. Available in five sizes from 26″ to 54″, with surround kits available for the 26″, 30″ and 36″ models to cover gaps in existing fireplace openings. Provides supplemental zone heating up to 500 sq ft.

Fitting Instructions
Install types: Built-In Clean Face (single sided) and Existing Fireplace Insert.
Built-In: Install into a rough framed wall opening. A dedicated 10A breaker is required. Minimum 36″ (914mm) clearance from all combustibles.
Insert Installation: Remove all debris from existing fireplace. Have a qualified electrician wire an electrical outlet to the rear or side of the existing opening. A dedicated 10A breaker is required. Surround kits (4″, 5″, 6″ & 8″) are available for 26″, 30″ and 36″ models to cover gaps in existing fireplace openings. Surround kits are not available for 42″ or 54″ models.

Rating Information
Modern Flames electric fireplaces operate without combustion — no gas, no wood, no flue required. They run on standard 240V power and are safe to install using standard building materials without fireproof linings. PTC ceramic and coil heating components operate at a maximum of 2kW per hour. RGB LED lighting produces zero heat, enabling year-round use with or without the heater active. Modern Flames electric fireplaces require minimal maintenance.
General care: Keep the glass clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals on the glass or surround. Ensure ventilation slots are kept clear and unobstructed at all times.
Media: Log sets and ember bed media can be repositioned as needed. Handle with care to avoid breakage. Replace media components only with manufacturer-approved parts.
Electrical: Do not attempt to service internal electrical components. Contact Modern Flames Australia for warranty or repair support. Always refer to the product manual before servicing.
