The Redstone™ is the straightforward solution for replacing or upgrading an existing wood or gas fireplace. Featuring Hybrid-FX™ flame technology with 10 unique flame colours, independently controlled RGB uplighting, downlighting and flame, the Redstone installs as a flush built-in into a rough frame wall, or slides directly into most existing zero-clearance wood-burning fireplace openings. Available in 26″, 30″, 36″, 42″ and 54″ sizes. Surround kits available for 26″, 30″ and 36″ models. 240V plug-in with hardwire option. Includes driftwood log set and acrylic crystal media.

Fitting Instructions
Install types: Built-In (rough frame wall, flush mount) and Insert (existing zero-clearance wood fireplace).
General requirements: A dedicated 10 Amp (or higher) breaker is required. This fireplace must be electrically connected and grounded in accordance with local codes. Minimum 36″ (914mm) from combustible materials.
Built-In Installation: Select a non-moisture-prone location. Create rough-in frame with electrical. Hold fireplace up to confirm fit.

Insert Installation: Remove all debris from existing fireplace. Have a qualified electrician wire an electrical outlet to the rear or side of the existing fireplace. Some insert installations require Extra-Wide Trim (sold separately) to cover existing fireplace edges. Surround kits available for 26″, 30″ and 36″ models only.

Rating Information
Modern Flames electric fireplaces operate without combustion — no gas, no wood, no flue required. They run on standard 240V power and are safe to install using standard building materials without fireproof linings. PTC ceramic and coil heating components operate at a maximum of 2kW per hour. RGB LED lighting produces zero heat, enabling year-round use with or without the heater active. Modern Flames electric fireplaces require minimal maintenance.
General care: Keep the glass clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals on the glass or surround. Ensure ventilation slots are kept clear and unobstructed at all times.
Media: Log sets and ember bed media can be repositioned as needed. Handle with care to avoid breakage. Replace media components only with manufacturer-approved parts.
Electrical: Do not attempt to service internal electrical components. Contact Modern Flames Australia for warranty or repair support. Always refer to the product manual before servicing.
