The Spectrum Slimline removes the traditional black glass surround, finishing flush with just a sleek 5/8″ trim to maximise the viewing area. Hardwood or tile finishes right up to the fireplace opening. Powered by Hybrid-FX™ flame technology with 10 colour combinations across flame and ember bed, it installs into a standard 2×4 wall or mounts directly to the wall. Available in 50″, 60″, 74″ and 100″ sizes. 240V plug-in with hardwire option. Thermostatic heat control and remote included.

Warranty
Fitting Instructions
Install types: Fully Recessed (2×4 wall), Wall Mount.
General requirements: A dedicated 10 Amp (or higher) breaker is required. Minimum 36″ (914mm) from combustible materials. Consult your local builder before wall installation.
Recessed Installation: Create rough-in frame with electrical. Remove front glass. Fix two metal brackets (1 per side) through wood studs with 4 supplied screws. Insert appliance into rough-in frame and secure with 4 screws into side slots. Reinstall brackets.
Wall Mount: Remove wall bracket from back of unit. Mount bracket to wall with hooks facing upward and level — secure to wall studs where possible. If studs unavailable, use supplied plastic anchors. Two people required to lift and hang unit. Attach L-bracket at base for stability. Install side skirt panels.

Rating Information
Modern Flames electric fireplaces operate without combustion — no gas, no wood, no flue required. They run on standard 240V power and are safe to install using standard building materials without fireproof linings. PTC ceramic and coil heating components operate at a maximum of 2kW per hour. RGB LED lighting produces zero heat, enabling year-round use with or without the heater active. Use, maintenance and care
Modern Flames electric fireplaces require minimal maintenance.
General care: Keep the glass clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals on the glass or surround. Ensure ventilation slots are kept clear and unobstructed at all times.
Media: Log sets and ember bed media can be repositioned as needed. Handle with care to avoid breakage. Replace media components only with manufacturer-approved parts.
Electrical: Do not attempt to service internal electrical components. Contact Modern Flames Australia for warranty or repair support. Always refer to the product manual before servicing.
