The Hoop Basin is a round basin with a straight-edged profile, vertical walls rather than a curved or tapered bowl, giving it a clean cylindrical shape. The crisp geometry makes it a defined feature on a vanity without added detail.
It’s hand-cast in Australia, with the pigment running all the way through the concrete rather than sitting on top, so the colour is consistent through the whole piece. The Hoop comes in two finishes: Signature Smooth or Raw Textured. Choose surface mount to sit it on a vanity or bench, or wall mount to fix it directly to the wall, and it comes in Nood Co’s full colour range. Because each basin is individually cast, no two are identical. The cylindrical form also pairs with Nood Co’s Cylinder pedestal for a freestanding design.

Warranty
Fitting Instructions
Made to order, with an estimated 4-week lead time plus delivery. Surface mount basins sit on top of a vanity or bench; wall mount basins require a pre-tiling bracket to be installed before tiling. The Hoop can also be mounted on the Nood Co Cylinder pedestal for a freestanding installation. A 32mm or 40mm standard non-overflow waste is required (not supplied). Installation should be carried out by a licensed plumber in line with local plumbing codes. Line drawings and spec sheets are available here.

Nood Co is an Australian designer and manufacturer of handmade concrete basins, based in Osborne Park, Western Australia. Each basin is hand-cast and pigmented chemical-free, so the colour runs through the whole piece, then finished with a penetrating sealer that doesn’t need re-sealing. More than 85% of the concrete composition and packaging is sourced within Australia.

Use, maintenance and care
Concrete needs a little more care than ceramic. Clean with mild soap, warm water and a microfibre cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners, scourers, sponges, or chemical products, which can damage the sealer and the surface.
Don’t leave standing water or coloured liquids (cosmetics, hair dye, toothpaste) pooled on the surface, wipe spills up promptly. Each basin ships with organic wax; an occasional re-wax keeps the sheen up, though it’s optional. The Raw Textured finish has a more open surface than the Signature Smooth, so wipe it dry after use to keep marks from settling. Refer to the Nood Co website for full details.
