The Molli Freestanding Basin is a full-height concrete pedestal basin with a rounded, oval form, a single piece that rises 900mm from the floor to a 10.5L bowl at the top, with no vanity or pedestal needed. Where the Luna is a round column, the Molli is a wider oval, giving it a fuller, more substantial footprint as a standalone fixture.
It’s hand-cast in Australia, with the pigment running all the way through the concrete rather than sitting on top, so the colour is consistent through the whole piece. Because each basin is individually cast, no two are identical. As a freestanding basin it suits open, design-led bathrooms where the basin reads as a standalone object rather than sitting on a bench.

Fitting Instructions
Made to order, with an estimated 4-week lead time plus delivery. The Molli is a freestanding, floor-mounted basin: it stands directly on the floor, so the waste and water supply need to be roughed in to suit a floor-standing fixture before installation. A 32mm non-overflow waste is required (not supplied). Because it pairs with no vanity, plan the tapware as a wall-mounted spout or floor-mounted freestanding mixer set to the 900mm rim height. At 69kg, handling and positioning should be planned accordingly, this is the heaviest piece in the range. Installation should be carried out by a licensed plumber in line with local plumbing codes. Nood Co is an Australian designer and manufacturer of handmade concrete basins, based in Osborne Park, Western Australia. Each basin is hand-cast and pigmented chemical-free, so the colour runs through the whole piece, then finished with a penetrating sealer that doesn’t need re-sealing. More than 85% of the concrete composition and packaging is sourced within Australia.

Use, maintenance and care
Concrete needs a little more care than ceramic. Clean with mild soap, warm water and a microfibre cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners, scourers, sponges, or chemical products, which can damage the sealer and the surface.
Don’t leave standing water or coloured liquids (cosmetics, hair dye, toothpaste) pooled on the surface, wipe spills up promptly. Each basin ships with organic wax; an occasional re-wax keeps the sheen up, though it’s optional.
