The Vesl Rectangle Basin is an elongated rectangular basin with slim walls and gently rounded edges, the soft corners keep it from reading as hard-edged while holding a clean architectural line. At 595mm long with a 15.4L bowl, it’s the largest basin in the range, suited to wide vanities and generous bench runs.
It’s hand-cast in Australia, with the pigment running all the way through the concrete rather than sitting on top, so the colour is consistent through the whole piece. Choose surface mount to sit it on a vanity or bench, or wall mount to fix it directly to the wall, and it comes in Nood Co’s full colour range. Because each basin is individually cast, no two are identical.

Fitting Instructions
Made to order, with an estimated 4-week lead time plus delivery. Surface mount basins sit on top of a vanity or bench; wall mount basins require a pre-tiling bracket to be installed before tiling. At 16kg the Vesl Rectangle is the heaviest basin in the range, so wall-mount installations should confirm the bracket and wall substrate suit the load. A 32mm or 40mm standard non-overflow waste is required (not supplied). Installation should be carried out by a licensed plumber in line with local plumbing codes. Nood Co is an Australian designer and manufacturer of handmade concrete basins, based in Osborne Park, Western Australia. Each basin is hand-cast and pigmented chemical-free, so the colour runs through the whole piece, then finished with a penetrating sealer that doesn’t need re-sealing. More than 85% of the concrete composition and packaging is sourced within Australia.

Use, maintenance and care
Concrete needs a little more care than ceramic. Clean with mild soap, warm water and a microfibre cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners, scourers, sponges, or chemical products, which can damage the sealer and the surface.
Don’t leave standing water or coloured liquids (cosmetics, hair dye, toothpaste) pooled on the surface, wipe spills up promptly. Each basin ships with organic wax; an occasional re-wax keeps the sheen up, though it’s optional. Refer to the Nood Co website for full details.
