Hand wash after each use with warm water and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive pads and dishwashers, both strip the finish over time. Dry fully before storing to prevent surface marking on the steel.
Timber handles last longer kept out of standing water and away from prolonged direct heat. Wipe with a damp cloth and re-oil occasionally if the grain dries out.
Store indoors or under cover when not in use.
